Dr Alain Wong - Dentist

With over 20 years’ experience as a dentist, Dr Alain Wong graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). 

He enjoys getting to know his patients, educating them about good dental health, and taking the time to explain treatment options. With a calming demeanour, he is especially good with anxious patients. Patients often comment on how well he explains options and procedures in a clear manner.
 
Born in Mauritius and having studied in Brisbane, Alain is now a long-term resident of Melbourne. He has been Principal Dentist of Barkly Dentalworks (formerly CityView Dental in Melbourne) since 2010. With his diverse experience, he enjoys interacting with people of all different ages and backgrounds.
 

Aside from caring for teeth, Alain enjoys running, riding his bike and spending time with his young family. He has a strong commitment to continuing education and has attained:

• Accreditation with The Australian Society of Implant Dentistry
• Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (Orthodontics in General Dental Practice)
• Graduate of the 2 year Academic and Clinical Program: Progressive Orthodontic Seminars
• Past Honorary Fellow of The University of Melbourne for his role in supervising final year Melbourne University dental students
